What GeoSafe is.

GeoSafe is two-factor authentication for self-custody of digital assets. The blockchain checks the key. GeoSafe checks it's you: your phone, the places you choose, and time. It is made by GeoSafe Holdings Ltd.

The problem we built it for

Anyone holding your seed phrase is you, as far as the blockchain can tell. Nothing checks that a withdrawal came from your phone. In 2025 Chainalysis counted about 158,000 personal-wallet theft incidents and about USD 713 million taken from individuals (reported by The Block, 18 Dec 2025). A copied phrase is enough.

What we add

A Vault: a smart-contract account you own, under the wallet you already have. You move in what you want protected. Every withdrawal asks your phone. Inside a Safe Zone you chose, your Approve goes through now. Anywhere else it waits for the away wait you set, then asks you again. Withdrawals go only to the wallet you linked. A seed phrase alone moves nothing in the Vault.

What we are not

  • Not a wallet, not a self-custody solution. You self-custody with the wallet you already have; GeoSafe adds permission on top of it. Your wallet, your seed phrase and your habits stay as they are.
  • Not a custodian. We never hold your funds. A Vault needs your wallet and your phone to sign; GeoSafe cannot sign on its own. GeoSafe holds one emergency key. It can stop a withdrawal or a recovery to protect you, but it cannot move funds, start a withdrawal, shorten a wait or change where a recovery goes. A recovery you start completes without GeoSafe, and if GeoSafe disappears the Vault keeps working.
  • Not a tracker. No KYC. Your phone checks its own position only when you tap Approve. GeoSafe stores no place names or addresses.

Where it stands

Invite-only iOS app. Ethereum and EVM chains first, through WalletConnect-compatible wallets; open to wallet partnerships. The Vault contract has had internal security review; an independent audit is planned. The report will be published on the Security page. Patent pending — US non-provisional application.

Questions

Is GeoSafe a wallet?
No. GeoSafe is not a wallet and not a self-custody solution. It adds a Vault, a smart-contract account you own, under the wallet you already have. Only what you move into the Vault is protected.
Can GeoSafe move my digital assets?
No. A Vault needs your wallet and your phone to sign; GeoSafe cannot sign on its own. GeoSafe holds one emergency key. It can stop a withdrawal or a recovery to protect you, but it cannot move funds, start a withdrawal, shorten a wait or change where a recovery goes. A recovery you start completes without GeoSafe, and if GeoSafe disappears the Vault keeps working. Withdrawals go only to the wallet you linked.
Which wallets and chains?
Ethereum and EVM chains first. Any wallet that works with WalletConnect; GeoSafe is open to wallet partnerships.
What if I lose my phone?
Lose your phone? Your linked wallet plus your recovery places, places you chose at set-up and reproduce on a map, restore the Vault on a new phone. There is no seed phrase for the Vault to write down. How recovery works is on the Security page.
Does GeoSafe know who I am or where I go?
No. There is no KYC. Your phone checks its own position only at the moment you tap Approve, never in the background. GeoSafe receives inside or outside a zone, not where you are, and stores no place names or addresses.
Is the Vault contract audited?
The Vault contract has had internal security review; an independent audit is planned. The report, the verified contract address and the documented way to withdraw without the app will be published on the Security page.
How do I get it?

Is this the GeoSafe used by first responders?
No. An unrelated US public-safety software company also uses the name. This GeoSafe is geosafe.ai: digital-asset security software made by GeoSafe Holdings Ltd in Abu Dhabi.
